1) What size group will my child be a part of?
Extreme Camp: 12-15 campers

Eco-Challenge:  12 campers

Rock n River:     12 campers

2) What is the age breakdown per group?

Extreme Camp: 9/10, 11/12, 13/14, 15/16

Eco-Challenge:  10-14

Rock n River:     10-14

3) Can friends/siblings be grouped together?

Absolutely!! Our purpose is to create the MOST comfortable environment for your children.

4) For how many weeks can I register my child?
Extreme Camp: from one week to six weeks

Eco-Challenge:  one week

Rock n River:    one week

5) How many children are there to each full-time staff?
Extreme Camp: 6:1

Eco-Challenge:  4:1

Rock n River:    3:1

6) What certifications do the instructors have?
*Sailing instructors are certified by US SAILING. These instructors are also certified in First-Aid and CPR.  Parents interested in learning about US SAILING's certification program, may visit their site at: http://www.ussailing.org/training/corinthian/sbinstinfo.htm

*Windsurfing instructors are certified by US SAILING. These instructors are also certified in First-Aid and CPR.  Parents interested in learning about US SAILING's certification program, may visit their site at: http://www.ussailing.org/training/corinthian/sbinstinfo.htm

*Kayak instructors are certified by the ACA (American Canoe Association). These instructors are also certified in First-Aid and CPR.  Parents interested in learning about ACA certification, may visit their site at: http://www.americancanoe.org/

7) Are there lifeguards on duty?
YES, at all times. We provide full-time lifeguards to monitor your child whenever he/she is on water.

8) Who provides the transportation service for Extreme Camp and Eco-Challenge?
The McDonogh School, a professional school bus service, provides the roundtrip transportation.

9) How long has Ultimate Watersports been running water sport programs?

Since 1985

10) How old is the equipment used in camp?

Our fleet of kayaks (approximately 150 units) is replaced each year. Our sailboat and windsurfer fleets are replaced every four years and are cared for with a rigorous weekly maintenance schedule.
