Get ready for this year’s most rewarding paddling event. Paddle for the Cure offers everyone (paddlers and non-paddlers alike) the chance to make a difference in the lives of many. The promise of Susan G. Komen for the Cure (www.komenmd.org) is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures. The funds you raise through the “Paddle” support the critical efforts of Komen Maryland. Each stroke you paddle and every dollar you raise helps in the fight to prevent and cure breast cancer.

The day’s events will include paddling races for the more experienced, a fun course for the casual paddler, intro clinics and a Short Course for the first-time paddler, a Corporate Challenge, Club Challenge, and a Parent-Child course for families. Regardless of your paddling (or lack of) experience, you can join us to make a difference!

Join us for a memorable day on the water, complete with fun, sun, food and festivities for the whole family!!

While the festival is free, a (Maryland DNR) service charge of $3 per person is required to enter the park.
