Windsurfing Lessons
Ultimate Watersports, the oldest and largest windsurfing school on Maryland's own Chesapeake Bay, has been teaching windsurfing lessons for over 25 years! That's almost as old as the sport itself! We are one of the busiest certified windsurfing schools in the country and located on the beautiful (jellyfish-free) waters of the Gunpowder River, in Baltimore, Maryland. From kids to grandfolks, there's just one prerequisite: the desire to learn! It's your turn!
Learn-to-Windsurf Course
(6 hours)
Group Lesson (Minimum of 4 Students)
For ages 13 and up
All equipment included
Taught at our Hammerman Beach location ONLY, in Baltimore, Maryland
From our land simulator to the water, at the end of your 6 hours, you'll be able to handle your own windsurfer with confidence and success! It's as simple as that! Learn the fundamental skills, sailing theory, safety and self-rescue with the most state-of-the-art windsurfing equipment and a proven U.S. Sailing curriculum. It's quick and it works...that's our Guarantee!
All windsurfing students must be proficient swimmers and generally feel comfortable in open water. Water shoes are required. Advance payment is required in order to guarantee your reservation.
OPTION A - Split Session (recommended):
Saturday, 10am-1pm & Sunday, 10am-1pm
OPTION B - All-In-One Day:
Saturday, 10am - 4pm
We do NOT offer Sunday, 10-4pm

GUESTS MUST ARRIVE AND CHECK IN 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO SCHEDULED LESSON TIME. ALL CLASSES BEGIN AND END ON TIME.

Short and sweet! Learn the building blocks of windsurfing with a quick taste. 30 minutes on a simulator and 90 more on the water. Experience the fun and excitement!
